GB ROM not saving. Help please!

I have a SC SD, and I'm trying to play some Game Boy ROMs on it. Had some trouble figuring out the .sav file thing, but I solved that. Now I'm having problems with one game (Final Fantasy Adventure) that refuses to bring up the option to write to SD card in Goomba 6.

L + R + Select + A does nothing but bring up the option menu.

The .sav file is in the same directory as the .gb file, and the firmware is updated as of last night.

Any suggestions?

Have you tried the QPC method of saving?  Since you have firmware 1.7, you may need to reboot in GBA mode for it to work.

Thanks for the reply.

No luck with the QPC method, unfortunately.

I'm actually using a GBA.

Overnight, things seem to have gone a little haywire. Now none of my data is saving.

EDIT: I think I've figured out what's going on in regards to the games that worked not working. If I load a game when there's something still in RAM (I assume it's still in RAM because it lists the last game played) it seems to corrupt all the .sav files for some reason. If I cycle the power slowly that it clears the RAM, everything is fine.

Except for FFA. Even tried an actual .sav file from the game and it still won't load.
