I have this .swf file and I want to convert it to a movie file like .avi or .mpg so i can play it on moonshell. Does anyone know how to convert it with sound and same frame rate as the flash?

I wrote a guide on a mobile forum how to do this  :)

So I have brought it here for you :)

REMEMBER THIS IS FOR SE MOBILE so adjust the screen aspect ratio to fit the DS as per IMAGE 2!  :)

how to convert SWF to mobile or other ....

(note only works for swf videos not swf games)

heres how to ........

First get freeware tool SWF>>AVI here ....

a quote from the creators swf>>avi

Quoteswf>>avi is a freeware dedicated to Flashtm .swf files to .avi conversion. swf2avi is productivity tool. You can batch convert swf files and manage conversion profiles.

We had developed swf>>avi for our own use because we did not find exactly the converter we need. Now, we think that it could be useful for many users. So we decided to provide swf>>avi for free to interested users

once you have downloaded swf>>avi install it like any other pc application and then run the program  :)

Add your swf files to the file window drag and drop or add files ...(see image below)

CLICK manage profiles and change it to the settings to what I changed it to.. 176x144 for both settings.. (see image below)

Click set as default then click OK  :)

Then just hit BATCH CONVERT and it will output the SWF files as AVI files  :)

according to WIKI   DS has ...Two separate 3-inch TFT LCD screens, resolution of 256 x 192 pixels each, with dimensions of 62 x 46 mm and 77 mm diagonal :)

re:- sound do you have AC3 filter installed if not get it here   and install it and try again :)

hmm, i installed the filter and still no sound, and also the video is about 2x faster than the original flash...could i maybe just send you the file? I might be doing something wrong

I decided to convert mine by simply playing and recording at the same time.  It's likely the same thing that SWF2AVI does, but I was never able to get that program to function correctly.  I had the flash video load in the original window it came in (if embedded onto a webpage that is), used HyperCam to select the window that I needed in order to get the X and Y coordinates of the borders, and used DemoStudio to actually record the file using the settings I found from HyperCam.  As long as I don't set it to too high of a framerate, my computer can keep up.  Once it's recorded, I use SUPER to convert the AVI file to a format that takes up less space, like MPEG II or something.
