I was a nayer :¬(

i was trying out a some game off my SC(CF)
i cant remember what it was but i accepted a
"do you want to format the save"
after i exited i saw a corrupted 0002 NFS filename
but most of the rest was ok but on putting my CF
in the pc card reader this morning all i could see is a
[]
nothing else
had to reformat the card and now im bumping
my save files back to pc all the time

memory type is a CF kingston 512 (read some other peep having trouble with that make too  in the forum)

no passme or superpass here yet so few goodies dont work
also life got better when i stoped trying to use my mario64 card
seems with flashme i need a good rom (compatible) inside the ds at all times

but overall i should retract the nay now as it was based on bad luck so far :)

what are you talking about? Where in playing a normal game would it ask you to format the save? :?:

Really great.

Loading wasn't bothering me but they dissapeared so great :)

Saves works like a charm for all games I tested so great too :)

Just one game I wanted to play don't work, but it's not a big deal (can wait and/or buy it), which is Goemon. And I don't have the problem for Splinter Cell as I have the original cartridge.

The reason that happened is because you corrupted the CF card, if you remove it improperly or at a bad time, it will corrupt.

CF cards are finicky like that.

NAY :x

i just want to play GBA games!!!
not really bother about the slowdowns(but hope it get reduced) AND
atleast with the new firmware will update the compability...but no!
get more games works!!
WTB] Supercard.....new or used..

As far as DS goes, it's very nice. Hell I just got finished playing a single match of Advanced Wars Dual Strike that lasted 140 turns or so, which took 3 or 4 hours. Ended up plugging in the AC adapter when the charge started getting low. It's certainly not perfect yet, but I'm sure with some patching updates more games will start to function.

There really isn't way too much more that can be done I'd assume (at least, not without rewriting a good portion of  the GBA games themselves). Simply put, the ram in the game is just too slow, and some games will just never work with it.

That said, you still shouldn't say nay to the firmware update because it doesn't do any harm and you knew before you downloaded it that GBA support would basically be the same as it was before.

Yupzy :)

The new firmware kicks ass! (I have a Supercard SD)

I also own a M3 CF, this piece is nice but sticks 2x the lenght out of the DS
Also saving is a big f**** mess on the M3.

Supercard: Every game has it's own save, no thinking about writing the save to Sd before playing another game.

M3: You have to choose before every start of a new game to backup the save, if you press the wrong button ur save is overwritten.

Supercard: Patched games have the .nds.sdq extension (on SD), so i know there patched

M3: Keeps the normal .nds extension, ok it's nice, but sometimes i forget if there patched or not.

Supercard has it's drawback to, like, some games that work nice on M3 don't work or don't save @ supercard, but M3 also has trouble with some games and some saves (and FW 08e en software 1.6 still didn't fix those)

You can bet your ass, that Romman is working on trying to get some non working games to work.

@ this time i use my supercard more then my M3

I don't use passme or passkey, or whatever it is called, i have my DS flashme and i like it that way, on some games it require an original game inserted, just like some games on M3 require it.

Also about the GBA games, well 1.52 was pure a NDS update ;)

On my GB Micro i keep using my F2A Ultra 512 :D

Way to go Romman, keep us suprising, and that to think the supercard was only a gba kit :D, while M3 was made pure with NDS in mind and is almost 2x as expensive as Supercard.

Note: Where's the M3 SD :D -> AGAIN delayed (héhé) seems the have Sd problems, maybe the should ask Romman how he got his Supercard SD to work :P (or maybe the just use his SD FW 1.52 to see how he did it and steel his code for there  M3 SD (don't forget to give credit to Romman if you Do M3 Team!

plx? I assume that was supposed to be plz? If so were you asking them to get it working? If yes there as well, no idea what's wrong with yours but it's working fine for me. I played it a good hour or so before getting tired of it (the battles are slower paced because they like showing off with 3d graphics -_- drives me crazy)

SolidSnake

ahaha, here it works too, but crash randomly when i battle with the kaiba´s brother o.0

Are you using passme, superpass or flashme? What kind of cf you have?

I'm using superpass to boot, then I take it out at the super card menu to save power. Metroid demo is what I use in the super pass. I haven't had a single lockup yet.

SolidSnake

i will try this remove-the-passthrough-device thing, since i flashed my firm but i have a passme too :D

Well, it worked with the passme in too. I just normally do the remove the pass-me method to save on power.

The CRC of my rom is 2CEFE04D. You might want to check that yours matches.
