How do you use a NES/SNES Emulator?

I want to play Super Mario Bros. on my DS, so I downloaded NESDS.  I dont know how to work it.  Can anyone please tell me how to work it?

Follow the instructions at http://wiki.pocketheaven.com/NES_DS for your specific device.  Also note that with SMB, you might have a bad dump, causing you to start out at world 0-1 by default, a level similar to the famous "minus world" glitch though more based around a castle.  To fix this, either get a confirmed good dump or just hold A while pressing Start in order to start from 1-1 correctly.

For SNES, it's different depending on which emulator you're using.  For SNEmulDS, the recommended one, grab the latest v0.5 Beta version and extract the contents.  Patch the SNEmulDS.nds file with DLDI, put snemul.cfg on the root of your card, and put your straight *.smc games into a folder called "SNES" on the root of your card.  Launch SNEmulDS.nds and select the game to play.  Mess with the options to see what they do, as they can make many games more playable.  There's a partial compatibility list at http://wiki.pocketheaven.com/SNEmulDS_Compatibility_List but the chart for v0.5 Beta is really new, as I just made it earlier tonight.

Is there a good SNES emulator that can play Super Mario Kart?  I also have a SuperCard Lite, so any emulators that can run on that will do fine, too.  Thanks.

I wish NESDS had DLDI support. That emu rocks!!!

Super Mario Kart uses a special coprocessor chip that no emulator for the GBA or DS emulates.  Perhaps in the future SNEmulDS might start to tackle a few of these chips, but Archeide is more concerned with overall compatibility first.  A more complete list of such games can be found at http://wiki.pocketheaven.com/SNES_games_with_special_chips

If you must have Mario Kart on the go, there is always GBA #0086 or NDS #0351.  (note to mods: those aren't rom links)

EDIT:  754boy, NES DS is reportedly gaining DLDI support currently, though emu_kidid is being rather slow with the update... =/

Of course Loopy's temporary return to the DS homebrew scene might help somewhat.

aw....

I have another question.  Why does the Pokemon Crystal screen get buggy when I use Goobma Color?

[EDIT] Does anyone know why Super Mario Advence 4: Super Mario Bros. 3 doesnt work?
