I was playing Pokemon diamond (U) with 4 badges when my my save file courrupted :cry: .I was wondering if there is a way to recover it mabie with a hex editor, i'm not too familiar with how to use one and how a .sav file is built up :? . Thanks.

sigh, this wont really help, but a suggestion would be to make periodic backups of your saves... heh

the first time it said corrupted save for me, it was ok - since i had... many many backups...

I usually do make backups but the last backup i had made was at the first badge because after that I had played quite a lot in one go to get me so far therefore I hadn't got a chance to make a new backup.

Try opening your save file with the save editor and saving over it. Worked for me once but YMMV.

Also get in the habit of backing up your save before you do anything over wifi. It crashes often.
