GBA SuperCard SD problems

Hi!

I bought the Supercard SD through Hopebuy a while ago. While I am happy that it is playing many of the games I play perfectly, it is very frustrating that the games I play the most won't save properly (and thus are unplayable).

The games in question are Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen. These usually rely on 128kb flash for saves. I have tried many ways to get it working, but it always fails one way or the other. I have a clean dump of the ROMs. What I have tried:

* Patching the normal way (Enable Save). Whenever I save the game, use the "magic key" combination to save to SD card, reset my GBA and start the game again, it either says my game is corrupted (and won't load it) or says that it has deleted my game (without any explanation as to why). Using the quick power off-on method to save does not work either.

* Patching with More Saver. Similar to above, although when I try to save, it freezes at a certain percentage in the Supercard save menu.

* Using a different .sav file (128kb instead of 64kb) with Enable Save (both with and without More Saver). Similar results to above.

I've tried more or less everything. The firmware is the newest, as is the software (I even tried an older version of the software). Also, it requires a 128kb save to progress past a certain point in the game.

Any tips on how to get this working? All help is appreciated.
