I am currently in China and have the option of purchasing the Chinese version of the DSOne ($7 usd cheaper) over the English version. Will I be able to install the English firmware and use this flashcart or do I have to buy the English ver? I can't read Chinese and I will be ordering a few for my friends as well....so it's fairly important.

before trying wait for the guru's here to pass comment .. and for the record im sure theres a way listed somewhere here to change the language to english  with a CH DSone :)

I just cannot seem to locate it at the minute  :(

Dudu.exe

I dont know if any one tried to do this.. but for sure.. supercard one has english and Chinese language.. so you do not need to worry about this so much..

the first edition ds one which has the red PCB and a small square white box has the option to change from english/chinese in the option menu, but for the new version, you must choose either one during the purchase, they cannot be changed.

My question is, shouldn't I be able to update the Chinese version to English via firmware/os update?
