Which slot 2 will complement a DS Linker 2G?

Basically I want to be able to play GBA games.

I was thinking about the EZFlash V (3 in 1) because it's cheap and I can use the RAM to run Opera. Don't care about the rumble feature so much. But it doesn't have much storage, and that will mean I'll have two cards with no removable media.

I was also thinking about the M3 Lite because it'll run GBA games well and give me another 2GBs of removable storage.

But then having the M3 lite won't help me in running Opera will it? I can live without that though, I guess....

Does anyone know if leaving either of these in slot 2 carts will drain my battery any faster?

I think I'm leaning towards the M3 lite.

Ideas? Any other suggestions?

Thanks, lovers!

The general rule is that if it can run GBA, it can run Opera. There are exceptions, but they don't apply here. M3 lite can run Opera.

The M3 is way more expensive than the 3in1. Do you really want to pay that much?

Thanks for the reply.

Cool. I didn't know that.

It is kind of expensive - like 4 times the price of a 3in1 before buying the microSD card. But I can kind of justify it because that's the price I'd pay for a few new DS games. Having 4GBs of storage for music, Scumm games, movies etc. would be really handy.

Hmmmm.... I think I'm going to just hold off buying anything for as long as I can and just get the M3 lite if nothing else comes along.

I think SCDS+EZ4 would be a better combo, but still more expensive than then 3in1 i would guess.. btw ez4 can be used as opera ram now.
Yes I'm mad

im using a EZ-Flash 4 lite deluxe to "complement" my SCDS1 & it was only £16 from bamboogaming

Didn't even check the EZ-Flash 4 Lite Deluxe before. Seems like a pretty good deal. I think it does everything I want it to - and much cheaper than the M3 Lite.

Only thing I don't like is that it sticks out a tiny bit. That's no drama though.

Looks like this is the one I want.

It's about the same price of the M3, but I recommend the G6 Lite. In my opinion, it's the best slot 2 out there. It's what I'm using with my slot 1's right now.

It plays every GBA game without any problems. It only has 512mb of space, but if all you're going to do is put GBA games on it, you're going to hold a ton. I have over eighty of them on mine right now. Plus a couple DS games(which I need to delete), and some homebrew games.

And you can run the Opera browser on it now too. Triforce created a patch a little while back for the browser to be used with it.

But, if it's too expensive for you, I would say go with the EZ Flash 4. That's a great slot 2 also. I'm not sure if a patch has been created for it to run Opera though.
