connecting two ds with beup

Is it possible? because can see each other but then freeze. why? i note that between ds and pc everything is ok!(two ds, one phat, one lite, beup 0.3a, connection ok via router but when i see each other everyting freeze)

Are the two DS's using the same internet connection? Maybe there's an IP conflict?
