Okay. firstly, I'm a totaly newbie at this. I just bought a supercard not too long ago, and I'm still learning. Haha.

Anyway, R4 is the one where you don't have to run the .ds files through the SC patcher, just paste them directly on the micro SD, am I correct?  :?

I downloaded some .gba games, and then read a couple of guides about how to play gba games on the DS. They all involve converting. I've tried converting .nds and .gba games to put on the microSD before, and it didn't work.

I got the .nds files to play without converting them, but I was wondering, how do I get the .gba files to play?

as far as i know you cant play gba on the R4 it does not have the required ram to play them that a slot 2 card (excluding rumble comes with)

Right, clean DS roms will work on the R4, but you cannot play GBA games at all.  If you have a DS Lite, you can look into the slot-2 EZ-V 3in1 expansion pack, as it will work with your R4 to give you GBA compatibility, Opera RAM support, and rumble capability.

If you don't have a lite the EZ-V 3 in 1 is available in full size for older NDS
