SC Rumble... no support for real rumble games???

As the Supercard Rumble Series is the latest 2 Slot realease from the SC Company, i still wondering about one important thing...

I know... i can turn on rumble for every game, but to be honest, this feature is only useful if you have already played the game you want to "rumble patch", because you have to know which button you'll make to rumble...

Anyway... there are more and more DS games out who are using the "real" rumble pack anyway... but if you play them on your RUMLE Supercard, this feature won't work...

TO keep it simple: Is the Metroid Pinball Patch the ONLY release of the SC Company for an "real" rumble game, to let it rumble with an Rumble SC???

What about all the other games? Is there any way to let them use the SC Rumble Feature in the original way?

Sorry for bothering... but could anyone be so nice and drop me just a short line to confirm that i'am right

I know the rumble series seems not to be widespread... but to those who have a rumble card: Do you often use the "Button"-Rumble-Patch? Are you satisfied with it? Is your card also rumble like mad if you do the In-Game-Reset?

Sorry, this topic is not so intresting like the new Firmware etc... but anyone please drop me a line... thanks

Yeah, the MPP patch is the only one of it's kind - to enable the game to rumble like it would do with a real rumble pak. I never use the rumble function anyway, I don't like it.

Bishonen

Thanks for answering!

Yeah... in MPP (with Rumble Patch applied) the rumble intensety seems to be right (it is silent, it rumbles in the right moment, it rumbles with the right strenth)...

The universal Button Patch... well... is the complete opposit of what i've wrote above...

What a pitty... so the feature becomes kind of useless...

Yes I am totaly dissapointed with my Supercard Rumble, e-mailed them and asked about, suport for the card etc and got no reply. I no longer buy supercard products :( . I now have the ninjapass X9, R4, M3DS Simply, G6DS Real, N-card and they are all better then the supercard Rumble.

It is no loss realy as there are loads of goods cards out there. I think Supercard has made some huge marketing errors, i don't think they are the leader of flashcards like they used to be.

Sad realy as if they supported the card it could be a great card to have.

the superpasses weren't that great after the superkey was out. the superpasses were a great idea for a reasonable price too and supercard has always tried to keep things affordable. rumble is really just a cheap NDS slot 2 cart.

but what is the deal with rumble features these days? we have this new cheap alternative $25 Three-In-One RAM,rumble,GBA slot 2 but does supercard one utilize the rumble for all rumble games and what about that RAM and surfing the web?

Bishonen

Slot 2 Flash Cards, of course, aren't the best Solution for people how are intrested in playing NDS Games...

But what a really a pitty is, is that the Supercard team promised to include the REAL Rumble Patch function into the Converting Software... but the nerver did... and they also NEVER released and further manual Patch for any other Game than Metroid PP.

But, if i think about it... in the Past... Copy-Boxes, Mod-Chips and Flash Cards were devices with a short life-span (Quality, Compatiblity...)

If you've purchased an SNES backup unit at the start (1992), you had 16 Mbit, no DSP, No Realtime Save, no nothing... you had to buy new units... upgrade the RAM and so on... (Really EXPENSIVE!!!) to be always Up-to-Date.

Compared to that... if you've purchased an Supercard CF or SD years ago - You can still play the new releases...

EXACTLY the reason I have 3 RUMBLE CARDS in my house as they were much cheaper than the price of a normal SUPERCARD slot 2 card when I bought them :)

THEY are great cards if you dont want to use HOMEBREW/GBA/opera browser ....altho the odd few homebrew or older homebrew work on it  if you have no interest in GBA or HOMEBREW or surf the web on your ds then this is the card to get maby :)

they work 100% for all NDS games  :)

the only downfall is that you still need a SUPERKEY or slot one PASS card to get them to work unless you flash your ds or mod it  :)

the money I saved getting the rumble paid for the superkeys well just about  :)

as for the RUMBLE ... never bothered with it .. it wasnt the reason why I bought it, was purely the price  :)

meangreenie

they are faster than the older minisd/sd versions too... a good buy at the time if you had a ds-phat, before the slot 1's
Yes I'm mad

have 2 ds PHATS here  :) they also work fine in DS LITES but stick out a bit but..... its livable for their price and they were also a bit less than their lite alternative too :)

Bishonen

Yep... 2-Slot Supercards without Memory WERE a good choice for DS-Players... but because of the need of a Superkey... if you add prices now... it is much better to go for a 1-Slot Card...

@ they are faster than the older minisd/sd versions too...

Right! Castlevania POR dosen't crash anymore and DOS's opening movie has no slowdowns anymore
