One word, WOW!

Old news mate maby new to you but they have been around for years  :)

Hi

New to me. Think they'll actually be able/have they been able to exert any political influence. Obviously, piracy is still illigal but...

The world has gotten so liberal these days that I wouldn't be surprised if they began letting us pirate stuff.

The U.S. is going to turn into a clone Canada, then Bush will use his powers to infuse all of North America so that he can dictate it. T.T Or so it seems.

With the American system, there's absolutely no way a third party can win. I used to watch the Swedish PP, but stopped after they lost the 2006 elections.

Felix: For the president you are correct, but for senate and congress there are a few independents. I think we even have a Green congressman somewhere. Or we did once. Or something. :)

Hi: No, the Pirate Party has no real influence except to keep TPB from getting shut down(and I have no idea how they've been doing that). I can all but guarantee you they will never even be on a ballot in the US.

Those independents sit with the Democrats anyway and that lone Green politician is a state representative. For a so-called democratic country they don't have much choice: Republicrat, Demolican or throw your vote away. Proportional representation FTW :)
