How Good is the DS ONE Compared to the SC LITE Rumble In ROM Compatibility?

I had a DS ONE for a while and was Dissapointed.

It was Ver 2 and some games were slow and some did not even load.

The Startup interface gave an error on loading. In the end I sent it back.

Just wondered how things have come along, as I'm willing to try again.

One last question.  Does the cheat option work like the DS LITE version, in the respect that I can come out of the game and into the cheat menu at any time. And then continue the game.

Thanks For Any Help

with RUMBLE any version of rumble lite or standard its not possible to use the cheat in game to swap between game and cheat menu and continue the game at any time due to lack of ram on the rumble series of cards :(

but as far as I know you cannot do this with SLOT 1 cards either again due to lack of ram either :(

If you really want to go for a slot 2 card with the in game cheat menu and gba and homebrew support then go for the normal SUPERCARD version either lite or standard :)

I could be wrong but i think the SCDS1 does have real time cheats interface just like the sc-slot2 couterparts (-rumble) and also has the real time book/guide option.
Yes I'm mad

Umm that's not true, SCDS One latest firmware / os has real time cheat, you press a key combo L,R,Select + Up (I think) and you get the cheat menu then you exit cheat menu you're exactly where you were and I've not noticed slow downs this time. Also there's a slo mo function

I know they released this for the slot 2's but not sure about the lite's.

I think you'll find the Slot 1 problems you had may have been down to your micro sd card - With more recent games a decent memory card is a must, japanese kingston micro sd seems to be best - I have this and no problems.

Even slot 2's need decent cards, my now deceased SC CF never had problems until portrait of ruin, a faster CF card sorted that out so it's not just down to the card.

The problem you mentioned.. wasn't supercard fault, its low speed MicroSD issue!!  i never got a problem with my supercard one ( veriosion 1 )

and it has the real time cheat and real time guide ( and supercard one got it first then slot 2 )

You really need a good MicroSD for supercard  like Kingston Japan...

I also have a scds1 (version 01) and love it. In fact, I rarely use my sclite anymore (well it is at least an expensive dust cover, LOL). I have a sandisk ultra II 1gig with no issues in the scds1.

Thanks For the answers everyone.

I was going to get a Lite, but think I'll go for the DS ONE now.

Just hope the error on startup has been fixed.

Thanks Again
