Has anyone used one of these?

Seems like a good deal on a 2GB microSD, but I'm wondering if this one is made in Japan and is suitable for playing Castlevania.

I can't really tell by looking at that picture.  Asking Newegg where it's made is probably pointless as they are a huge company and probably don't have time to check on such a trivial thing.

Either way, Newegg is a great company and they are good about service and returns.  I'll probably jump on this.

you where right, asking was pointless they said it they have a huge stock but didn't physically have it in his hands to check it. neither could you ask them to ship you a japanese version because they ship what they have.

Yep.  I got mine last week and it is indeed made in Taiwan.  The Castlevania intro plays perfectly and I was unable to get it to lock up by repeatedly going through the warp portals/portraits.

P.S. i hear that the adata SUPER not speedy is really good, its like 9mbs read speed and rms is like 1.9.

The numbers with that I'm getting with HDTach are very low compared to what other people get.  It might be my PC or reader that's causing low benchmark numbers, but here they are anyways:
