Im having trouble saving to.
any fixes?

*edit*
put the new file in my saver.
works beautifly now.
also, on an off topic note, sorry for the other thread about DAT files.
i figured it out now.

Hello im a little lost by your comment, how does putting the save file in the saver folder allow you to save on your nds, regards george.

If you put the file in your saver folder, the patcher software will automatically pick the fixed 2Mbit save instead of the generic 1Mbit

Most DS games are fine with a 256 kb save file, but in this case it appears 512 kb is needed.  Putting the save file in the "saver" folder will tell the patcher to produce a 512 kb save file for you, which you then copy over to your card.

Alternatively, you could just copy and paste the save file itself to your card and rename it to have the same name as your rom file.  Putting it in the saver folder just makes it easier for users.

Just nitpicking here, but 2 Mbits is 256 kb, the standard size for most games.  512 kb would be 4 Mbits.

right click the 'supercard' icon on your desktop (or wherever you have it) and choose 'properties'... now click the 'find target' button... hey presto the instaltion directory will open up for you...now replace the ndsrominfo.dat file with the one from the fix, it will ask you if you want to overwrite the older one, say yes...  now look again at the files in the instalation directory and notice a nice yellow looking folder icon called 'saver'... open it and put the 0575.sav from the fix files in there, you will notice other similary named files.... now go patch your rom

note, the patch files were developed with the 2.60 sc client in mind, if you are using a diferent version remember you can install other versions right along side, just choose a different directory when installing as to not overwrite your present one.

you will know if your on the right track when you patch your clean zelda rom, the patcher should produce a 512kb sized save file, if it's 256kb you have done something wrong
Yes I'm mad

The fix here is specific to the Supercard and will most likely not help you on your DS Linker.

Hmm. I'm using my good old SuperCard SD, with firmware 1.81 and software version 2.60. I updated my ndsrominfo file, first with the newest version on the official site and then with the one in this topic, and I added the files to my saver folder. I also enabled patch cartridge access. Even with all of this, I still get two white screens... anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Ah, sweet, thanks. I had cheats enabled - turning those off fixed it. Awesome!
