Saving does not work for me with my SCLite. Will I have to wait for some kind of update for it to work or is there already a solution? Thanks in advance :P

Nearly all of my songs are made with Fruity Loops, except for one where I used Reason. I recommend looking at my ambient stuff, and staying away from old songs, which are pretty crappy.

Did you patch it with the correct DLDI patch?  If SCLT.dldi fails, try both SCSD.dldi and SCSD_moon.dldi

I had one issue where loading a specific save file caused the screen to blank out every time, and the only solution I could find was to start a new game.  This appears to be unrelated though.

"dsdoom.nds does not have a DLDI section"

I'm using the Win32 GUI version of the patcher. Would trying another one help?

Well, turns out I was using an older version. It patched, and I'm about to test it, however this version did not come with a prboom.cfg

Patching it with DLDI didn't work (I tried all 3 DLDI files), using the, "scmhbp," patcher got it to start up. However whenever I tried standard game it would just give me blank screens. I read that the PRBOOM.cfg should create itself, but it didn't seem to do it.

I seem to have fixed it, but saving doesn't work again :(

EDIT: Got it. What I did is use the output doomds.nds.sc file and apply the DLDI patch to that. Thanks for the help :)

I really hate bumping old topics but I feel I have no where else to turn. I also have a SC Lite and can not save on DSDoom. I've tried using version 1.0.0 from DSDoom's main site as well as Jefklaks own version (which unfortunately doesn't even boot at all) and can't save. I tried to patch it with the SC Lite DLDI patch but that has done nothing. And as brujagio said the earlier version does not support DLDI so I'm kind of stuck in an infinite loop. Any help would be great.

brujagio

As mentioned in my previous post I used the supercard magic homebrew patcher. After having patched the file with that, I then patched it with DLDI and it worked perfectly (saving and all).

Yeah well now it boots and I select Standard Game, but it gets up to the line:

R_InitData: Textures Flats Sprites Tranmap build [                  ]∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙........

then stops and doesn't do anything else. Any ideas?

brujagio

Now try using the other DLDI patches that Dan mentioned in the second post, hopefully that will work.

Nope, still won't boot :(. Any other suggestions?

@Adzma ....I remember that error when I tried this ages ago.

It's because the wad file is patched or not patched.. anyway grabbing a wad file from else where solved the problem.

Check your PM.

Yes I'm mad
