Since I have spent most of the time on my PSP... I am not checking out the DS and what it can do. I have read that there is a SNES emulator for the DS. How is it and can it also work with the Supercards or do I need a Flash card?

Works great with the supercard (or at least as good as it would with any other cart).  Some games play, others don't, I don't think theres a formal compatibility list.  Those that work play with perfect speed/control/sound but the graphics are often kindof off.  There is also a SNES emu for the GBA that works with supercard and DS, but I haven't had a chance to test it yet.

Perfect:
Mario
Actraiser
Terranigma
A few more but can't remember.
x 1gig PNY SD card + early version DS + FlashmeV5 + Supercard SD

The funny thing about SnesDS is that just about all the best games that work perfectly or near-perfectly are ones that have already been ported to GBA. For example:

Super Mario World
Earthworm Jim
Megaman X
Zelda - A Link to the Past
Magical Quest
Donkey Kong Country

That's why I packed the emulator with Earthbound only and named it Earthbound.nds, because it's really the only one I need and if you pack only one rom it'll start automatically like a real game.

Super Punchout also works very well, but all the background graphics are messed up bad. I'll stick to playing this one on my PSP.

Here's the compatibilty list: http://luffy.free.fr/nds/snesds_compat/index.php

Oh, and about SnesAdvance, I heard the game compatibility is better, but there is no sound at all.  :?

One game they have yet to port over is Chrono Trigger... damn i LOVED that game...
nimal Crossing :
Larson" from "Havenile" of Zip code "0816-6534-7899".
Mario Kart DS : 519750-640786 (Larson)
Tony Hawk : 137499-350825 (Larson)

Yes, but chrono trigger (nor any of the final fantasys) work yet.

SNESDS is a sound port of SNESAdvance and it's still in fairly early stages. Flubba has been very busy though lately and hasn't really gotten a chance to work on it much yet (or his other project, NESDS)

MetroidPrime

I think the coder is not Flubba but Loopy.

Ahh maybe it is. I thought it was Flubba working on the DS ports. So it's Loopy and Flubba who are both very busy and haven't been able to update things much.

What's loopy been up to anyway I heard the reason he paused development on the emulators is because he's working on a side project?
