Today, well this morning i was playing my ds, supercard and cf were great.
then i seen that romman released the new moonshell with supercard compatibility on the supercard site.
i thought great i'll give it a try, anyway i put it and and mp3 on my cf and booted supercard, i had the error "cant find cf" so i deleted it tried again and still same error,
i formatted the card and it worked again, 2 mins later i booted my ds and got the cant find cf error again, i refomatted and it worked again for 2 mins, then same error again.
now when i format it dont work at all, card is FAT formatted not FAT32 as i usually do it.

now when i opened my card with hex workshop it says card has iregular sectors and may be corrupt so i tried that guide to format card using hex workshop, but had no joy, same errror cant find cf.
i looked into the supercard all the pins are fine so im hopeing its not the Supercard itself cos i had it only just over a month ago.
its been great til today , havent had a single problem til i tried that moonshell for supercard CF version by romman

so now i bought a new cf card from ebay hopeing that is the problem and not the supercard itself.

anyone have any ideas? or had a simular problem? any info would be great.

thanks

When you are on MoonShell before Turn Power Off make sure to not use ANY file on the CF. Exemple MP3 player.

but i didnt even start the mp3, i booted moonshell to see if it worked. it booted up, then i powered off after that.
it wasnt until next boot that i was going to try the mp3, although i never got into moonshell after that, so i couldnt try the mp3 cos it said cf not found

There might be a bug in moonshell. Just keep this apps away for the moment.

not like i have much choice now as i dont have a working CF  :(
hopefully this new cf will work ok, and i wont touch moonshell again thats for sure.
wish there was a way to fix this cf card though, such a waste :(

But in Hex when you open your card it's normal that it say the card may be corrupt. Even if u just format your CF using windows and open it in Hex it gonna say this.

I don't think it's your SuperCard , but it might be your Compact Flash. Maybe trying with another one (different model) might help

i ordered a brand new kingston compact flash earlier, hopefully that one will solve this problem.
my old one was jenoptik, i have never heard of that brand before but it was only a cheap cf card to test out supercard.
it worked ok ish, weird thing is with it is that you have to warm the cf card before it will function on supercard.
like if i havent used it for a few hours and its cold the supercard wont recognise it, although if i take it out and hold it between my hands for a few seconds to warm it the supercard recognises it straight away.
so i guess the cf card could have been faulty from the start.
