got this in the hope i would be able to play castlevania:POR, but it cant even manage to play the castevania DOS video very well at all

anybody got some tips for perfomance with the dslink?

well yes that might work, but it says its 60x (7.5 could be the readers max)
AND the creaters of dslink said that kingmax cards can play the castlevania intro perfectly

i also had a kingmax 2gb microsd, i thought it was going to be really fast but it ended up being a piece of garbage. thats why i return it and got   2gb microsd japan kingston. no problem there and its 9.7mbs and random acess 1.4mbs, lot better.

urrrm... so how do you tell the kingston cards apart again?

the kingston card must have the word japan printed at the bottom.

I have the toshiba 2GB micro SD (made in Japan), it has a read speed of over 18.6MB/s.

Good choice, but expensive.

it doesnt seem expensive to me (uk is more expensive)

however i have found one on auction for alot cheaper, ill se what happens

I would avoid buying from ebay because it's full of fake stuff.  And you just may end up with a craptastic card that can't play anything

the cheapest price ive ever seen a 1gb card in a shop is like £50 so thats a no-go
and anyway either im lucky or something beacuse i havent haid any fake stuff.... yet *touch wood*

not tested por on my sandisk 2gb but for the price its worth it from play.com
