Dwedit's been working on a TI-83 emulator for the GBA, and about 2 weeks ago he released his first build of it, releasing an update 3 days later.  More info and downloads can be found at http://www.dwedit.org/dwedit_board/viewtopic.php?id=292

I find it to be a very usable emulator, and while it isn't the best for TI games, it works very well for its main function of calculating.

Dwedit also plans to port it to the DS, judging by his post at GBAdev.

So what do you guys think about it?  I personally like the ability to scale the screen and the speed buttons, as they make it very enjoyable to work with.  The only place I've noticed slowdown is when tracing a graph, but aside from that it runs at nearly fullspeed from what I can tell.

Not gonna be able to bring my DS to the finals...  :(  Although this would be a good excuse if they catch me.  :)

Do they already have one that has the ability to run games? Would be pretty sweet :P
My Music

Nearly all of my songs are made with Fruity Loops, except for one where I used Reason. I recommend looking at my ambient stuff, and staying away from old songs, which are pretty crappy.

Yeah, you'll need to attach the *.83G file to the end after the rom itself for it to work.  Once you start the game, turn the calc on and then press Select to go to the larger view before pressing L+R to send the file to the calculator.  It will appear in the Program menu when completed.  Keep in mind that the file must be in 83G format (83P won't work) and must be a single file.

I've attached a batch file I made that may make it easier to create the file.  Name your TI-83 file "ti83.rom" and run the batch file.  It will create "ti83emu_final.gba" in addition to one additional file for each 83G file that's present in the directory.
