Heh, I got mine cheaper than that, though I am Chinese. Its amazing to see all the markup these English importers add. :)

Yes it's what we get for being on the other side of the world... but that's okay as I'm sure we screw you guys back with our imports. It's how the world works sadly.

Dream Games at One Utama has one SuperCard in store at one point but they sold it later. Maybe you want to place an order there? it was going for about RM260.

BTW, I got mine from HopeBuy, and my SuperPass from minionline store via ioffer. Both are reputable from my experience as I got mine delivered. HopeBuy is a wee bit more expensive but they use DHL and it got here within 2 days!

do you want to sell your supercard?  8)

or help me buy it :o
i dont have paypal or credit card...... :(

1 Utama and any other "upmarket" malls in or around KL are not the best places to find items like these. I bought an SC with superpass for the same price in UK as in 1 Utama. Best place would be in Sungei Wang - I normally go there when I am in town they cost up to one third cheaper than the other malls. Low Yat plaa opposite is also a good place. You can find Low Yat dealers online here>.

And dont forget to haggle ;-)

Problem is this is the first time i ever see anybody having a flash cart for sale in malaysia... maybe I haven't look hard enought, but both my flash carts were bought over the internet and the shipping costs a bomb.

And yes I do go to Sg Wang and Low Yatt sometimes (in fact, I was working in Plaza Amoda that time when I bought my EZFA over the net) but can't find them there... Sometimes after some calculation it just doesn't justify the travelling and parking cost to get there...  (i'm from PJ you see)

I'd sell ya my supercard for $35, if you have a brick of gold to toss in with that cash...

Whats stopping you from getting someplace like Kicktrading.ca to send it to you (their shipping is flat rate, if its customs that dings you when you import it really doensnt matter where you get it from, new or used.)

I paid RM400 for my EZFA back in the days and RM260 for my SC.... I'm using my EZFA for games like FIFA 06 that for some reason I can't get to save using QPC with SC... and also GBA games like the Mario series... so I need them both :P

Besides, the EZFA is only 256M, so you can only play games which is 32MB or LESS! you sure you want it??? Even if you do i'm not selling :P

I have no problem with that, because it begs the question "What imports?". As far as I knew most products had "Made in China" or "Made in Japan" on them LOL :-) . But all kidding aside, ya it does suck.

speedoom,

I know you don't have credit card... but doesn't MayBank have some kind of a 'prepaid' credit card thing?  I remember seeing it in Malaysian net cafe (saw brochure)... (i'm from singapore originally)

Maybe you could look into that.  It's some kind of visa or mastercard thing that you can 'top up' and use for online purchases.
i don't know if it will work, but it's an idea... i just suddenly remembered reading the brochure in a net cafe in J.B.

cory1492

sneef, that is called secured credit card if I recall correctly. Could one not wire the funds directly to a retailer/seller instead (bank tranfer at a small fee can be done without a bank account... used to work at a bank here in Canada)

machofairy

In Malaysia, you can "buy" a credit card from your mamak stall  :D  :D

But on a more serious note..... could you not ask someone who does have a credit card to buy it for you? That would be the easiest way. Otherwise, send postal order in £, $ or â,¬.

cory1492

Yeah, its called a "secured" credit card, when you put the money down ahead of time its considered "securing" your credit. Heh, makmak stall, we got Money Marts here that do similar things, or one can buy set value cell phone /pay phone cards in a similar fashion at the 7-eleven.
