Extreme Supercard Issues.

I've been pretty displeased with the SuperCard lately. A lot of Online games have issues, such as not being able to connect to a friend, Metroid Prime Hunters seems to freeze everytime I choose an option, which causes friends to disconnect while i'm trying to play online with them (My screen stays black), and GBA Games run horribly slow.

I never thought I'd be the kind of person who makes angry posts, but I'm very displeased at the moment, and I'll probably be selling my SuperCard to buy an M3, or possibly the R4 everyone's talking about.

Well, that's up to you. But know that the R4 doesn't play Gba games. And if you meant the M3 Simply, that doesn't either.

If you want a good slot 2 that runs everything, get either the G6, M3, or EZ IV. I highly doubt you'll be displeased with one of those.
Setup:
White Lite
Slot 1: CycloDSx2GB Kingston Japan, Supercard DSOne+1GB Nokia(J), 16G G6 DS Real, 16G DS-Linker, R4x1GB Kingston(J),
Slot 2: G6 Lite
PSP: 3.40 OE-A

I can't see any reason for those things to happen other than a very very cheap memory card.  I've never had an issue with online play or multi cart play with the Sueprcards, even with pretty cheap memory cards.  Although GBA is really quite terrible.  Chances are, you either have a really cheap memory card or you are patching games wrong.

either
a) your sd card is painfully slow
b) you may hav a damaged ds, try looking into it

i havent had any of the problems you hav mentioned

I haven't had those problems either with a Supercard SD. If you do get an R4 I'd recommed keeping the Supercard. You probably won't get much for it nowadays anyway and you can still play GBA games(mostly) and the emulators and stuff. I have a SCSD, R4 and EZ-5 and wouldn't get rid of any of them as they all fill a niche in my DS usage.

EDIT: Check the Nintendo Wi-Fi site to make sure your router is on their compatible list. If the router does not like your DS that would cause many of the problems you listed, and replacing your flash cart wouldn't help. Don't assume that it should work because all of your other gaming devices do. I had to buy a new router even though my PS2, PSP, 2 PDAs and 3 computers all worked fine.

If he's talking about local multiplayer, that doesn't work in a lot of games, almost all of them. But online works perfectly. Personally I love my Supercard SD :smitten: 8)
Edit: you're right meangreenie, i was thinking about single card multiplayer.

meangreenie

local multiplayer should work, it's 'download n play' that gives the trouble (aka as single cart play)

as the previously mentioned, maybe the ds has an antenna problem
Yes I'm mad
