how to load e book in r4?

Yes, I'm trying to load the comics...hehehe please put more comics.... How about comics like "Rin Tin Tin", "Frank and Ernie", etc?hehehe

hmmm ok guys.... so... How do I use dldi? How to patch?hehehe I really have no idea whatsoever...

delete just the COMICBOOKDS.nds file you have and use mine instead here

it will be quicker than trying to figure how to patch yourself

It's always good to know how to patch with DLDI, as it isn't all that difficult. Just download and install the latest version of DLDIrc, selecting your device when it prompts you. Then right-click ComicBookDS.nds and select the new patching option that appears. Simple as that.

Thanks so much for the help....

I can't still make it work... I downloaded kkan's file and replace the old one... but when I open it, it will still say that fat is not supported... what could be wrong? Were you guys able to read the Grim Tale?

Try the one I've attached to this post. When I ran kkan's file through DLDItool, it reported that it had not been patched before. It was probably an accident. I just now patched it with the R4 DLDI file and uploaded it here.

Weird its the one straight off my mem card and it works fine in my R4

Perhaps the R4 only does the DLDI autopatching in memory, leaving the original file intact.

If thats the case and hes using an R4 with same 1.10 then should it not work

yeah I use VERY PDF2IMAGE 2.1 but its not freeware

fortunate for me It was a tool I use at work anyhow so work paid :p ... not sure if theres any free tools out there that do this too?

You could try Paperless Printer, which I'm guessing is still freeware. If you can print a document, you can export it to a series of JPEG images using that program.
