Hey everyone, it's been a while since my last post but i wanted to get some advice from a few ps2 modders out there.
I plan on purchasing a used PSTwo Slim from a friend and want to basically be able to play psx back-ups and ps2 back-ups. I really don't care how difficult the mod or the hoops i have to go through. All I want is the cheapest possible solution. So i'm all ears ..... or actually all eyes!  :P

I use the DMS3 (DMS4 is the newest one) and love it, but im not exactly sure what the cheapest solution is right now. Bout time you came back around, we were wondering where the hell went off to.

a simple google search of ps2 mod chips came up with modsupplier.com all between 10 & 40 USD

i use swapmagic & breaker pro but its cheaper to get a chip

Hey somebody woke up popinadam.  :)

Yea i've noticed that some of the modchips are pretty darn cheap these days. The breaker pro and swap magic so far is the cheapest no solder mod i could find personally for around $50 for both. So if i can get a cheap $10-$20 chip is there any one here that could solder it for me for cheap? I wouldn't dare do it myself or if anyone knows some place that will do it fairly cheap. As long as the over-all price is under $50 i'd be doing pretty good!

And yea i finally woke myself up. Now i feel so lost with all the new topics i used to read daily and the new layout is unfamiliar as well. Guess i'll have to get used to this .... haha
