Hi,

My Super Card Lite is suppose be able to play GBA AND nds.
But just few gba work and not able to play any nds on it.

So I forget something ?

:crazy2:

If your ds isn't flashed you will need a passkey/passcard/slot1 device to run nds roms on the sc-lite.

As for gba, the majority should run even though gba roms are not the sc-lites speciallity.

Thanks meangreenie  !

I buy SuperCard Lite Black & SuperKey Bundle so.
And I have M3 DS simply (slot 1)

I'm able to play all nds game with M3 but any if I put this same games on my SC Lite.
And I can just play very few gba games on SC.

So I don't understand really why  I can't play all gba games and zero nds game.

maybe somethings up with the sc-lite.. but maybe give it another crack by checking/upgrading the firmware and client software to the latest and try again with dsroms. get the software here -> http://eng.supercard.cn/soft_scl.htm

1st check what firmware you have by booting with L+R held down then press 'a' to cycle the info. Then proceed to update to firmware 1.81, but note if you skip 1.80 your built in emus won't work... so get up to 1.70 (important), then 1.80 then finally 1.81 ... see this thread -> http://www.scdev.org/forum/index.php?topic=10373.0    ...you'll find 1.80 there.

then patch clean roms with the latest 2.60 client software... note to find the ds options, either double click the rom in the list or right/click/properties, don't use the option tab as thats for gba options , and output folder setting. For settings use the djoens great list ->  http://www.dualscene.net/viewpage.php?page_id=28

when you boot the supercard are you simply loading gba mode from the ds's menu or are you activating the m3's passme/booting a passme rom to load the supercard?

when you are on the screen for the supercard, does it say Super Card on the bottom screen with the menu on the top?

Hi,

Ok thanks for all this information.

I have 1.81 but don't know what version I have before to flash it.
So can I flash again to 1.70 and 1.80 and 1.81 ?

I "boot" all time from M3 DS Simply. And if I want go at SC Litee I just use "A" two time to change for Slot 2.
And I boot there without need put off power.

I think I try all what you say but not sure. So I will check.
But again don't know if I flash from 1.70 or other version to 1.81 :(

I don't understand about path ?
I can play all nds game on my M3 (Slot 1) without any patch.
I need patch these games to be able to play on Slot 2 ?
Same for gba game ?

Thanks !!!!

All commercial games require patching to run on a slot-2 Supercard, both GBA and DS.  Use the Supercard patching software in order to do this.  You can use the roms from your M3 Simply as input, as it will leave them alone, putting patched copies in "C:\Program Files\SC\out" by default.  Copy them from there to your card and launch them.

You should be able to downgrade to 1.7 and then go to 1.80 and then 1.81.  Then make sure you're using version 2.6 of the patching software, as that's the latest one.

Hi again,

I put the following file:
micro_eng_170.bin

on my SC Lite (microSD)

I "boot" and run the file "micro_eng_170.bin" (I installed 1.81 version before)
And so I received the following message:
----------------------
It is not Enging Version.
Please turn off GBA.
----------------------

It's mean I can't write firmware 1.70 if I "burn" the 1.81 version before ?

Also I take many GBA files on Internet. So I need patch them to play them on SC Lite (slot 2) ?

Thanks !
