Hi guys i recently updated to version 1.81 and decided to put back some of my old gba games on it that use to work b4, now when i put them on and load them it says 0000k or exactly 5200k and it will keep screen blank any ideas ?

how did you upgrade to 1.81 did you update the firmware in order  1.63 > 1.70 > 1.80 >1.81 ?

a lot of people had issues with their cards when they jumped upgrade steps and it broke their emulation of gb, nes etc maby this is the case with your gba stuff

Basically you'll have to downgrade to 1.7 then upgrade to 1.8 to 1.81.

If that doesn't fix it, then try repatching the GBA games with the updated 2.6 patcher.  The save files can be copied over from before; only the games themselves need to be replaced.

danteh i dont get what you mean im using version 2.6 and also where can i get the 1.80 bin it would seem the supecard site doesnt have it as well as the link doesnt work for scdev, also any ideas why super robot tasien origonal series wont work?

You said you updated to firmware 1.81 and tried loading your old GBA games.  To me, that sounded like you were using the games that were patched with an older version of the software.  I was suggesting that you repatch them with 2.6.  Apparently you are already doing that however, in which case I don't know how to fix it.

What do you mean by "the link doesn't work for scdev"?  When I go to http://www.scdev.org/forum/index.php?topic=10373.0 and left-click on the attachments, Firefox prompts me asking me what to do with the files.

thank you danethman the link worked but the version is for microsd i have normal sd, also its and scu file not a bin, and one more question say i have a walkthrough in the game say golden sun sd book can i replace the file or do i have te rpatch the rom again and start a new game?

Just repatch the game and then delete the sav file, basically just copy over the game and the book file which will replace your previous version but still have your old save.

thanks vixtro ill give it a try and if it doesnt work ill just start the game again i guess, also just for the record this forums has helped me hella lot compared to the offical supercard forum and the dualscene site, i praise members like you and keep the good work guys.

P.S my liitle brother will thank you immensly for helping me fix his supercard

i tried what you said to do vixtro but for some reason when i add the new book file it gives me and error and it wont copy it over but when i cop y over the origonal book file it works fine any ideas what to do?

So what your saying is that your newly patched book file won't work with your original sav?

Try patching it again but then choose your original sav as the sav to patch with, that should work.

So use the one titled "SCSD_UPGRADEv1.8.rar "

I think the 1.80 update came in .scu format for every device, with 1.81 being a full .bin file.  Just put the file on the root of your card and boot up.  It will prompt you to upgrade to 1.80, so let it.  Then delete the file from your card and launch the 1.81 installer .bin file again.

I'm not experienced with adding book files to GBA games, only DS games, so I don't know how to help you, sorry.
