I installed the firmware w/o a hitch and was browsing my options when the cart froze. Everytime I turn it on, it says SD card not found. Does this mean my DS One is dead? I've had it for almost a month and this is my first time using it 

I'm going to try reflashing it with another DS One and hope that fixes it. If it doesn't get fixed, is there a easier way to get a replacement then shipping it back to Romman in China? I purchased it from his website (hopebuy) and the shipping is going to be killer.

Ok, I just did the self test, there is an error under Test sd card. sd error! error code: 0001. Everything else seems to be fine.

Try adjusting the MicroSD and see if you can get it working by putting pressure etc. on.

It's dead. I tried my brothers Ds One with the same microSD and it works fine. This is disappointing, my first Ds One and it dies on me after the first use. I hope the other two I purchased for my friend is ok.

Who do I speak to regarding a replacement? I hope Romman will talk to RHS and let me exchange with them so I can keep my shipping costs down.

try booting the firmware updater on your brothers ds, then switch to the other ds one, then flash the firmware

It took a few tries, but I was able to reflash the firmware on the broken Ds One. I still receive the No Find SD Card! Please turn off NDS!  I still get the same sd error! error code:0001.

Definately. I purchased four english versions and he sent me the Chinese ones. I had to ship it back to him to exchange for the English versions. I think if I had the Chinese versions, I wouldn't be able to upgrade the firmware.
