Can someone please point me to instructions on how to use cheats on SCR lite please. 

Edit: Ok i learned to use ar cheats by converting them to scc but the problem i have is when it comes to codes that require a main code to be on. It works great on games with a single code like start trek but games like yu gi oh gx is the problem i'm having so any help from anyone will be greatly appreciated.

surely you can simply enable the main code as well as the other codes?

if not.. maybe you can enable the main code, then boot the game, then enable the other codes in-game
