how did you upgrade to 1.81 did you update the firmware in order  1.63 > 1.70 > 1.80 >1.81 ?

a lot of people had issues with their cards when they jumped upgrade steps and it broke their emulation of gb, nes etc maby this is the case with your gba stuff

lol nice way to put your message

however the upgrade troubles are only true when using .SCU firmware upgrades, as these only replace small portions of the firmware.

.BIN firmware upgrades replace the entire firmware, so upgrading using them should work just fine

Thanks tennisgy  but it's not work.

I have SuperCard Lite microSD with 2 GB SanDisk

What I did:

1 -Remove SLOT one card. So now it's empty
2- With my SC in SLOT 2 I format it (FAT or if you prefer FAT 16)
3- I go at you site and take "SuperCard Lite" Firmware 1.63 and 1.70.
4- I try 1.70 first. So I put micro_eng_170.BIN on my SC.
5- I boot (touch screen and Start GBA game)
6- I see "micro_eng_170.BIN" and press "A"
7- DS begin wait and after a moment the same boring message:

Ti is not Enging version
Please turn off GBA

Well. So I think nobody try what I did and all that is big fake.
So it will stay a IMPOSSIBLE Mission File forever !

Well I don't think it's a fake SC card.

Also if it's fake why I can use 1.81 firmware?
And I can play few gba games.

Also I can play Nintendo DS Browser.

Just need to know what to do to play more gba AND be able to play nds game.

Cause I suppose to be able to do that.

1.81 work on my machine but I'm not able to do 1.81 --> 1.70 --> 1.80 --> 1.81
And I think it's IMPOSSIBLE since nobody show me the proof that it's work.

Ok I think I find something.
If I don't find before it's cause I was so sure I need make 1.81 -->1.70-->1.80-->1.81
But I don't need.

MY sytem:
In SLOT 1
SuperKey (buldle with my SC)

In SLOT 2
SC Lite microSD 2 GB


I just:

1- Format my SuperCard Lite microSD (2 GB) - Ya it's a real one
2- I go there http://eng.supercard.cn/soft_scl.htm (Official Site)
3- I use SuperCard Lite (Micro SD)V2.60 & Firmware V1.8
4- I use Patch Database for SuperCard SLOT 2(2007.06.23)
5- I use SuperCard Slot 2 Cheat Code(2007.06.05)
6 - I go there http://mdxonline.dyndns.org/archives/2007/03/moonshell_ver171_top.shtml
7- I download MoonShell Ver1.71 and run it. I choose SC Lite microSD
8- For test I use "0886 - Rayman_Raving_Rabbids_(U).nds". It's work with my Slot 1 M3 DS Simply (ya I have this slot 1 card too but don't use for the test)
9- So I run the "SuperCard V2.60 for Micro SD Pro Version (step 3)
10- I patch "0886 - Rayman_Raving_Rabbids_(U).nds" which came "0886 - Rayman_Raving_Rabbids_(U).nds.dsq"
11- I save on my SC and try it and work good.

If I try "0886 - Rayman_Raving_Rabbids_(U).nds" without patch it, it's not work on my SC Lite microSD Slot 2.
But when patched all work good.

I just think no need patch it since 0886 - Rayman_Raving_Rabbids_(U).nds work good (without patch) on my M3 DS Simply.



So I lose my time searching how patch 1.81-->1.70-->1.80-->1.81

No need to do that.

So I'm happy.

thats why then M3 SIMPLY USES clean unpatched romsas its SLOT 1 and SCLITE needs to be patched as its a SLOT 2 CARD:)

You are right in that going from 1.7 to 1.81 directly does not break homebrew or DS games at all.  However, put an NES rom on the card and try to launch it.  If you don't go to 1.80 in between, the built-in emulators break.  Going from 1.63 to 1.81 could brick the Supercard.
