Hello all...I have a supercard lite microsd w/a superkey.  Whenever I turn on my dslite none of my nds roms (*.nds.dsq) files are listed but the save files are listed under the saver tab.  My gba roms play fiine.  Does anyone know how to solve this?

SC Software version 1.81

Sounds like the superkey isn't working and your in gba mode (1 screen)

If you see "SUPERCARD" written on the lower screen in big letters and the menu on the top then your superkey is fine.

Try cleaning the contacts on the superkey (earth yourself first) and see if that helps.
Yes I'm mad

I would also check you are using the correct patcher for your lite get it here :)

Thank you both...I have the latest version and I tried cleaning the contacts.  Still not working.  Guess I'll be returning this one.  Is this common with the superkey?  Does anyone know if a different slot 1 device will work with the supercard lite?

are you patching the rom straight to the memory card ?

some people including me had problems patching and outputting the rom direct to the memory card so me and a couple of mates patch the roms to hard drive first and then put them on the memory card :)

Its also a good idea to put the rom and the save into its own folder and not all in the same directory  :)

eg rom1.nds rom1.sav in a folder called rom1

No...I patch it and save it to the hd first then transfer it to the microsd.  I have everything in its own folder for the sake of organization...thanks.  I have another question (sorry)  I've read the reviews of the various slot 1 devices (M3 simply.R4 etc.) but I can't find any definitive information about whether I can use a supercard lite with...lets say an R4ds.  (I hope I'm being clear enough.)  If I'm asking this question in the wrong forum can you guys point me in the right direction.

Hi dude !

I buy SuperCard Lite (SLOT 2) Black & SuperKey (SLOT 1) Bundle. But I have also M3 DS Simply (SLOT 1).

So I use M3 DS Simply in SLOT 1 and Supercard Lite in SLOT 2.

Each are microSD and both have 2 GiB (*) (so I have 4 GiB in all).

With that I can play just few gba games (on slot 2) and any nds. Even if I see all nds file (that I use M3 or Superkey in Slot 1)

With my M3 Simply I can play all nds games.

Thanks for clearing that up for me Mari0Br0s.

BTW...I'm a dudette ;)

The SCL will work by itself without a NoPass device if you just wish to use GBA mode.  However, most slot-1 devices will function as NoPass devices (like a Superkey) if you want them to, so you can do that if you wish.

Thanks to everyone for their help...turns out the card was defective.  The seller sent me a new one and all is, once again, right with the world.

Happy for you.
I resolve the problem my side. I  can play nds game on my SC now. Just need patch nds so they came nds.dsq.
