can someone help me out with my micro sd card

for some reason when i put my sd into my r4 and turn my ds on everything works fine but it cant make save files, so i tried to boot moonshell and it just froze up so then i delete the moonshell file on my ds and everything still work but theres just not moonshell but then i go to plug my sd up to my computer and removable disk pops up then i click it and it says please insert a disk into (h) or sumthin so i try a different micro sd it still doesnt work then i try another one and this one works for some odd reason. so i delete my ds organize because i thought that might be the problem so i delete everything on dsorganize but then some file called sound.dat cant get deleted and it freezes up when i try to delete it, and when i try to play a game i dont have a save file for yet it asks do i wanna make one so i say yes then it freezes can anyone help me fix this or is it broke im waitin for my brother to get home so i can put it in his phone and format it

o and everything worked fine like 10 hours ago so i dont know why its messin up now

I would suggest copy all your roms/current save games etc to your computer (forget about the broken dsorganise) then format the mem card and then copy back a fresh new copy of the R4 kernel along with your games and a fresh install of dsorganise and then try it

your memory card may of become corrupt when copying and deleting stuff from it

well i cant plug my micro sd to the computer it doesnt think theres a micro sd there

that used to happen to me just try cleaning the microsd reader.

i dont hink the reader is dirty because a different micro sd works fine in it

i guess my sd is broke but my friends phone has a file browser for micro sd's i'll try it out on his phone befoe i get a new one tho

have you tried removing it in device manager !?

make sure you have connected the card reader and the memory card ...

then ...

use this guide here

to get to device manager ....

to locate your usb device under usb header in the right hand column of device manager ... it should read something like USB MASS STORAGE DEVICE when you find it right click it and choose to remove

(you may need to click the + to expand the list)

disconnect the card reader and card and reboot when you have rebooted reconnect the usb reader and the memory card and let windows re-install the device and hopefully it should re detect it and fix the issue

the other thing would be to test it in other USB ports if you have several

nope didnt work

o and alot of files on my sd can be deleted from my ds but some folders cant like SNES folder cant be and everything in moonshell folder and yoshi island save file cant be deleted its really weird

not even formatting the card completely ?

and how are you deleting stuff if you cannot access the card??

i put the sd in my r4 then in my ds and my ds can access it so can my phone,360 and everything else that reads miro sds but the computer

did you try with another usb port ?

do you have the same card reader as posted as above by dragon_boy_y3k or a different one ?

can you try with another computer ?

can you borrow a card reader that takes the sd card or use the adapter that came with it that makes it a full sized SD card with a full sized card reader

i tried another computer, i have the same card reader, i tried different USB ports and sorry i cant try with SD reader or whatever its called

but like i said other micro sds except one other one work in my computer so its really wierd, have you ever seen this happen before i searched google and yahoo and cant really find anything except on yahoo answers which some guy had the same problem but thirs not really a good answer
