I saw the Marketplace thread with the guy selling them and didn't want to spam his thread so I made this one.

Why would you need a headset when there's a mic already on the DS? And what software does/will support it?

AnalogMan

Well, the headphone part is.... well, headphones. And the mic is just placed closer to your mouth so you don't have to learn in close to the DS for it to register you. It works on any game that uses sound and/or the mic. Nintendogs, Warioware, Metroid prime Hunters (voice chat), etc.

Dudu.exe

its good for games like Metroid prime Hunters and Pokemon becouse the voice chat!

I think it's pretty crappy that the official DS headset is mono.

The only third-party one with two speakers is $20, too.
Manually signing your posts is dumb.

Firmware versioning: Get a Passcard 3, a SuperKey, or a slot-1 flashkit. Then it doesn't matter which firmware you have.

Yer it's not nessercery to get one but you can. It think its good for those parts in Warioware when you have to blow into the mic

I've never tried it before but I read Metroid Prime Hunters and Pokemon Diamond can do VOIP.

Hi,

They have too "Nintendo DS Lite Earforce D2 Headphone Black" which is stereo (2 "ears" )

The advantage is mic is near of your mouth.
And also if you play night and don't want make noise it's good.
