OK I have the rom for 0142 - Metroid Prime Pinball.  The original game has Rumble.  I was recently giving a SuperCard Rumble SD from a friend, who moved on to a DSOne.

I go to the SuperCard Website and get the newest patcher (v2.61) and install it.  I then see in the download area for the Rumble card a special patch for 0142 - Metroid Prime Pinball  But no instructions were included with that special patch...  Well after poking arround I stumble across the instructions on how to use the patch:
QuoteUpdate(2006.10.07):Intelligent Rumble Patch(IRP) system Released

Intelligent Rumble Patch(IRP) is a patch system can let you play Original DS Rumble game on SuperCard Rumble Series, and Rumbling in game like Original Rumble PAK. This patch is for 0142-Metroid Pinball(US)(Mode 7). We will release more patch for more Original Rumble game.

How to use this IRP system?

Step 1. Double click game 0142-Metroid Pinball(US)(Mode 7) enter property before convert.
Step 2. Select "Enable Rumble" and "X Button". Click out to convert the game.
Step 3. Use the software "IPSWin.exe" in the IRP package.
Step 4. Patch the out put file *.dsq with patch file "0142_rumble_patch.ips"
Step 5. Just copy the *.dsq and *.sav to you flash memory card.
Step 6. Enjoy the Intelligent Rumble Patch(IRP)

Important: Yes. It's inconvenience at this moment, we will integrat the IRP system into our Converting Software later.

Well after I use their main patcher, I play the game, and it works fine, except the only time I get any rumble is when I press the X button (No big suprise).  So I go on to run the IPS Patch so I can have the real in-game rumble.  Well I get nothing but a white screen!  I have tried a few different settings in the SuperCard patcher, but no success.  It appears that the IPS patch breaks the ROM file.

So any ideas on how to get Rumble working properly in Metroid Prime Pinball?

ips patch first then supercard patch :)

I thought I tried that before, but I will give it another go!

When I use the SuperCard patch, should I also set the Rumble like the instructions above state?

I'll try it both ways, just incase.

Edit:
OK I just tried the IPS patch first, then the SuperCard patcher.
If I have the RUMBLE - X set (Like the instructions I posted above state) then I get a "DS Card removed" error.

If I do NOT have the RUMBLE option checked... Then the game playes with no rumble at all!  The SETUP option for Rumble is all greyed out.  ANd when I play, there is no rumble.

Edit 2:  Yeay!!!!  With both my DSOne and the Rumble cart, I have RUMBLE!  I just saw the menu option on the DSOne for Rumble.  I checked it and BAM!  Works PERFECTLY!
