Google wont get in the business, there smarter then that. As far as Apple goes I believe there just working on getting  games for their iPhone and not working on a standalone handheld gaming system.

There were patient info show last week on the net that Nintendo has a planed handlheld system with motion controls like the Wii.
I think I read somewhere those patents were for the en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pokémon_mini

the next nintendo one is obviously the NMS(nintendo multi-screen) you press a button and a bunch of screens fold out.  Then you can either play that way or meld them into one mega screen :P

rly?  no offense, but i think that idea sucks.  imagia a kid walking down the street throing his Nintendo Wii Portable around trying to get paper mario to jump :D

I actually think it sounds fantastic, I can't wait! (if it's true, that is) You have to remember that you won't have to move the system as much as you'd move a Wii-mote. If you're willing to spend some $$ (won't work on a flash cart) pick-up any of the following games to get a SENSE of how a motion system could work.

1. Kirby's tilt N' tumble (Read about problems when using a GBASP) (GBC)
2. Yoshi's topsy turvy/Yoshi's universal gravitation (GBA)
3. Warioware twisted (GBA)

Motion controls eh? Theres a mod for the DS for a motion (Tilt etc.) sensor and theres an offical one too.

Here's the link to the official one: http://kotaku.com/gaming/motion-of-the-ocean/ds-motion-sensor-in-the-flesh-289593.php

And the homebrew mod one you can buy : http://ndsmotion.com/

Thanks Jaki_Kisur

For those who would be skeptical to see motion controls in a handheld, play Warioware Twisted for the GBA. It will change your mind.

Apple stuff is poor other than the design of it for the price. They'd probably bring out something like a £200 DS Clone  ;D I think we'll see a DS2 with better graphics and generally better everything, possibly downloads instead of game cards, and a PSP2 with a single touch screen and 2 analog sticks. But I don't see them coming out for 3 or 4 years. That's what my crystal goldfish bowl is telling me  ;)

Altor

When DS drops to less than 500,000 sales a month they might think about making a new system.

No PSP2 will have a full size blue ray disk player, and same control setup - and of course sequels which play the same,
