ive never had this much problem before, i received a 8gb sd card, not sure if its sdhc, but i cant format it to 8gb only to 4gb using vista and other software, how do i get my full 8gb.

PS> i know its an 8gb because i originally use panasonics sd card fix which recognize it at 7.69 but then format it to 3.8gb. please help

What is the file system of your computer? If it's FAT, then it can only deal with files up to 4Gb.

you mean my hardrive? i have windows vista ulitmate and my file system is ntfs

try formatting it FAT 32 it may work fine in your R4 as FAT32 FORMATTED

its an sd card not a microsd and if i format in under fat32 i only get 4gb instead of 8gb

i have 3 of them, one being the sandisk micromate sd reader which is sdhc and comes with the 8gb sd
