I'm not sure if its that I almost filled my japanese kingston memory card but my boot times are horrible slow compared to a lot of the videos on youtube. For instance luminous arc is roughly 6-8 sec animal crossing is like 10-12 and if i'm starting a game from scratch even longer than that! is it my card or is there something I can do to speed up boot times for games?

if you run the games with patch options turned off then they will load faster, but then it wont save directly to the sd card.

also how much space do you have left in you micro sd?

thats probably why but i have no problems with saving so i'll disable that. Space left roughly 100MB. Music and tons of movies on my ds.

edit thanks! wow that cut the load times off AC to 4 sec lol, luminous arc is a sec faster like 5 ish now!

Slot2 is the fastest i think.

Slot 2 is faster becouse all roms are prepatched.. Supercard one ( and others Slot 1 cards ) patch the rom on the fly..   notice that Supercard One Patch the roms faster then the Software for slot 2 cards!

and you still can use in clean mode.. the load is amazing fast!

i might add that Picross DS has the longest loading times i've ever seen. = >10 seconds , using kinston 1gb.

less patching options = minimally faster but it's still super slow!

most games are ok though, about 5 seconds.

10secs for Picross??

I'm using a 2gig (Kingston Jap) and it takes under 4 seconds to load.

I have no patches on.
