I am starting my first development project. I am new to this sort of coding but find it easier to learn when tearing appart exitsting work. To that end my first attempt is to hack the supercard dsone os to add improvments I have selected i hex editer and a few other tools. One i have found that may be quite the GEM for this project is a scrypt extractor/editer/injector called PWSE 0.2-1 If it dose what it appears it dose it may be all i need for the project. The problem is im not certain how this works there is little documentation with the program and i am having problems finding information on its use. If anyone can point me in a good direction, or lend me some advice on  PWSE id appreciate it greatly.

Edit: Sorry PWSE is an acronym for Pheonix Write Script Editor.

Well I don't know much about PWSE but I'm pretty sure it's only for modifying the game Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney. 

Ndstool.exe by darkfader can be useful for hacking ds ROMs and to create custom game tools like PWSE. It allows DS ROMs to be unpacked and re-packed. There is a GUI front end for ndstool called DSlazy. Ratx has put together some links and also info about a tool called dsbuff here . . .

Understand DSONE has a microkernel that loads the actual OS from microSD. The OS is a modified version of Moonshell. The following source code might be useful . . .
