Frankly, I've been getting a little tired of all the flower-and-bunny games the DS gets (you know what I mean).

Stomp the flowers and blast the bunnies is what this game does, WOOT!

what a fantastic game me & my son have just finished it on easy (which was still hard) & was a bit gutted that it said we had to do it on normal to finish the story

I've finished it on Easy too, and am working towards finishing it on Normal.

Awesome game, just the right amount of difficulty. Reminds of the good old days when games were hard and took a fair bit of memorization and cheating the computer just to feel like you've outsmarted them.
