Any PSP can run custom firmware including PSP slim.

You can download the latest M33 PSP Slim Custom Firmware 3.60 HERE. Be sure to follow the instructions in the readme.en file. This firmware supports all the features of 3.52 M33 (for PSP phat), except 1.50 kernel support, as that kernel doesn't work properly with PSP slim (hardware problems, screen problems). Many popular homebrew applications have been updated to support 2.XX and above kernels. Custom firmware supports loading PS1 ISO's and PSP CSO's from Pro Duo flash memory by launching them directly from within XMB. Homebrew can also be launched directly from within XMB.  There is no need to install or use DevHook.

To install custom firmware 3.60 for PSP slim requires access to a second PSP phat that is already hacked and running homebrew. You will also need an extra battery and memory stick. The second PSP is used to create a Pandora's-Battery and a Pandora memory stick using the C+D team tools. There are no HEN exploits and downgraders for PSP slim. Pandora's battery is the only method to run custom firmware with PSP slim. You can download the C+D tools to create "Pandora's Battery" HERE. Be sure to follow the instructions in the readme.txt file.

To answer your questions  . . .

#1 - Only M33 PSP Slim Custom Firmware 3.60 will work with PSP slim.
#2 - Yes.
#3 - Yes as far as I know. I don't have a PSP slim.
#4 - DevHook is obsolete
#5 - Only M33 PSP Slim Custom Firmware 3.60 will work with PSP slim.
#6 - Yes, but Pandora's battery can un-brick it.

BTW don't steal games.  Always purchase games you play often, even if you prefer to load them from memory stick.

yea i guess your right but i have 1 MORE question (not to be intrusive!)

1. lets say i have 2 PSP slims..(my brothers and MINE!) can i use 1 PSP PHAT to hack them both?
and do you need 2 memory sticks (one for pandora's stick) and the other one for "usage?" and do you need 2 batteries?

Thanks for responding!

You only need access to one PSP "phat" capable of running homebrew to run custom firmware on one or more PSP slims. I believe once you have your PSP slim's running custom firmware then you will not need the Pandora's-Battery and Pandora memory stick again. I don't have a PSP slim myself.

OMFG i SAW what  the pandora battery is! i cant BUY it anywhere! but i saw that you can buy a PSP battery and make your own..can anybody give me a VIDEO on pulling the wires..or SOME TUTORIAL?

oh if i did make a pandora battery..could it be used to get my brothers AND MY PSP slim working? using only 1 magic battery AND magic memory stick?

EDIT on 10/23/07

I REALLY educated myself about PSP hacking..but i have 1 REQUEST..

can SOMEBODY show m HOW to make (i mean solder the PSP battery)  cause thats all i need and i'd REALLY appreciate it..
if not it looks like the Phat is easier to hack for my needs and i'll get that
