I got my replacement Supercard One in and tried with both SDHC (two brands 4gb SDHC) and standard cards (1gb & 2gb).  nesDS DOES NOT work with the SDHC cards and works fine with the standard cards.

All DS games and game movies scenes played using the 4gb SDHC play as fast as the actual games, so speed is not the issue.

I keep a 2gb card with nes games and some DS games.  I would use my GBA, but the scaling with the DS is better.... that being said, nes, GBC and SMS games play faster on the GBA.

It's not an issue for me since I don't have SDHC... but I'm just curious, any idea why this happens?
