I'm still pretty new to all this, but I've been having problems with using cheats. I installed the latest OS last night, and none of the cheats work. I've got the correct regions and the updated ndslist file and put it where it's supposed to be. I've checked the patch and cheats boxes as shown in the picture, but still nothing. Any help with this would be great, because I haven't felt this dumb since I started messing around with the PSP firmware stuff.

make sure you dont have fix download play ticked..... it stops cheats from working

That's how I've had it set since I got it. And I take it back, I've gotten the cheat to work on only Mega Man ZX. The only thing different with that one is that it was named the same as the game file, but changing other .scc files to match the game file hasn't fixed it.

the cheat file must be named 'gamenumber'.scc
game number must appear at the properties screen of the rom.
get latest ndsinfo.dat from http://sccheats.co.uk/

I tried it again. Reloaded the ndsinfo.dat renamed the .scc to the games number, double checked the region (both the region and release group match the .scc I downloaded). Still no luck.


Edit: Alright, I don't know what I did, but everything seems to be working like it should now. Thanks everyone for helping out.
