Does anyone know of a website that tells you who is getting Wii's in stock when?  Wiitracker used to be great but now it's pretty much worthless. 

Looking to pick one up for my little cousins and not have to pay out the arse on ebay.

meh everywhere in the UK is out of stock or awaiting stock 

You can get them from play.com but only the £300 packs and same with other places they have them but only the stupid priced ones ... there just isnt any £179 packs anywhere .... been looking for a mate and no one has them at all

you can import from amazon.com but still over £200

I 'phoned up John Lewis (a big UK store chain) Direct last night regarding a washing machine and the first thing from the automated voice was:

"If you are calling about a Nintendo Wii, please press 1. For all other enquires please hold...."

I warned some other parents a few weeks ago to buy while there were still stocks.

The way i recieved my Wii was via a freebie website! 

Took a month though but was worthwhile once I had done an offer!

I have my order confirmed now so I can tell you all where to get a premodded wii for £220

I have to say that £220 for even a "normal" Wii is a damn good price at the moment- I still have parents fron school who are "thinking about it" for Xmas (deluded fools).

Anyway, there is one well repected site in the UK- Overclockers- who have stuck £100 on the normal price which may explain why they have a good stock position. This, however, is still considerably cheaper than what is happening on ebay.

I'm informed that the best way to get one in the UK at the moment is to go via Amazon.de- the price delivered (3-4 days) is about £180. All that is needed is a 2 to 3 pin converter. The Wii is standard PAL and instructions are in English as well.

why pay £220 when they are £179 from most places with Wii SPORTS

only trouble is they are out of stock everywhere
