Does anyone know if there will be any add on packs like the ps3 has for the wii?

No hard drive = No fun.... Really, I think the Wii is great, but this was a huge mistake.

Nintendo needs to embrace online play and hard drive usage... Or they will continue to be held back.  My opinion.

Wii2 better step it up a notch.

Defiantly! I mean if they don't want to include a hard drive or release an add on one, they should atlease open the usb ports to allow us to add our own. There is no doubt they will do this or come out with an add on drive before too long as the WiiWare games are going to eat space fast.

I don't think there will be any.

The Xbox 360 version probably has the greatest ease of use online, with all the standard Xbox Live accoutrements, as well as easy access to downloadable songs (though, depending on your opinion of the Guitar Hero II pricing of said songs, that might be a blessing or a curse). The PS3 version should also include downloadable songs through the PlayStation Network store; unfortunately, the Wii version isn't set up for any kind of content downloads.

The XboX 360 and PS3 version have an area in game where you go for downloads, does the Wii version have this area built into the game? Not to mention 1 pack is around 65mb in space, 3 or 4 game packs would max out the Wii's internal memory and require people to use SD cards. Come on Nintendo, give us the hard drive already!

ahh well, you can probably hook the wii controller up to the pc and get frets on fire or something

I went to the guitar hero website and in the forums some Wii owners say there will be downloadable content while others say no. Who knows. Do you have the tab in game that says "downloads" like the Ps3 and XboX 360 versions do?

Also does anyone know where you can buy JUST the new guitar and not the game also? Im wanting to pick up a second guitar, but want this new version that came with the game.

As far as I know, there were rampant rumours that DLC was dropped, but there was supposed to be official word that DLC was not going to be available at launch but later on.
