I have noticed that when I make a .scc file for the supercard in order for it to work it has to be in the root directory of the memory card to work. However, with the .scc files that are outputted by the supercard patcher it does not matter where the .scc and rom files are located. Is there anyway to create an .scc file where it doesn't matter where you place it.

kkan

you need to have the .scc In the same folder as the rom and has to be EXACTLY the same name  :)

That is how I have them. The thing is the supercard will only load the code files I made as long as they are in the root directory. However, I want to keep my roms in folders so they are better organized and not in the root directory. Only the codes that are created by the patcher actually allow this.

i doubt this is the case, more of a co-incidence. do you have the latest firmware and patcher?

Swatpup32

Yes I do. Patcher 2.63 beta and Firmware 1.84

so if i have a scc. file just place it in the root directory of the memory stick and has to be same names of roms right?
