SuperCard DS One saving problems...

I just bought a DSone with a 1gb kingston micro-sd (japan) a few days ago.  Cool product, but the big problem I'm having is that nothing wants to save to the SD card.  It lets me save one game at a time in the static memory, but if I as much as try playing a different game, that gets wiped.  I've been doing some reading on this and other forums relating to DS homebrew/flashcarts and tested various things to no avail..

-tried formatting as both FAT and FAT32
-tried using the software to patch, and that was finally able to get romname.sav files on the cart, but beyond that no help, they dont seem to ever get saved to.  (and I checked and made sure no files were set as read only)
-tried with clean roms
-tried making each rom name 8 characters in length
-all sorts of patch/saver options within the moonshell menu

Sadly none of this has worked.  I'm open to any other recommendations anyone may have.  Could there be a chance possibly that its a problem with either the DSOne itself of the micro-sd card?

The setup I'm using, if it helps, is the older bulky silver DS, SuperCard DS One (white in color, with the new 1.1 firmware), 1GB Kingston Micro-SD Model SDC01G Japan, and the latest OS (SP3).

I am having similar problem.
Tried to patch some of the NDS roms with Saver Patch checked, and we i launch a game (eg New Super Mario Bros), it'll prompt that the save file is corrupted. And it can't recreate it. Anyone else having similar problem?

I had a similar issue to that, but I was using a Sandisk 2GB from Taiwan (SHIT). So, I had a Kingston 1GB from Japan come in and I used that instead, and it cleared the problems up.  What I'm trying to get at is that your SD card might be faulty.

I'm using Sandisk 1GB. Hmm, so now it's microSD related?
F&*&# SCDS1 .. why must it be restricted to type of microSD use?
Isn't one microSD same as another?
It's like saying windows XP can't run on certain hard-disk.

I would say tht it's as dumb! Supercard people, read this and be ashame!

There isn't anything wrong with your SCSD1. Your microSD card is just shitty, sorry to say it like that. I had a Sandisk before and it was giving me the same headache until I got a better one. All microSD are not the same. They do the same job true, but there are lots of different manufacturers and the performance of the cards varies.

Which microSD should you buy for the Supercard SD ONE?
