So someone here said a DS Linker clone was coming out but would have a G6 type writer with it.  I was looking around dealextreme and found this

Anybody have impressions?  Does anybody know if the writer can be bought separately and would work with the other clones (MK5 etc...)?

Check out the comments, one guy said this:

I have received my F-Card and can confirm it uses the same menu (2.52)and U-disk (1.45) as an N-card, so basically this is an N-card with a USB reader. This USB reader also reads/writes the old N-card I have.

There are absolutely no instructions in the package, if you need help on this card, it's best to google for "N-card".

So, I'm guessing it performs like and N-card.

I'm also interested in this. Actually just the writer. I would  love to get something like this for my DS Linker. The write times are horrible on it.

ok so F card recvd.  reader works with 16gb firelink cant really spare the time to do alot of tests but 354mb transferred to a nearly full cart in 4min 20 secs

I can't remember if that's better or worst than the original writers. It's been a while since I've wrote anything to my DS Linker.
