I have 2 supercard SDs.  The first one I messed up the firmware when I upgraded it a while ago and then restarted it before it finished.  It gives me a blank screen when I load it up.  I've tried using the 1.8 firmware automatic update (upgrade.scu) and it offers to update from 1.8 to 1.8.  I press start and it goes up to 100% but then it shows nothing, (I don't know if it is supposed to take hours or what).  So I got a second card to try to fix the first one with the flashmp software.  When I loaded it up on the second one and took out the supercard and put in the defective one, the DS would restart as I was putting it in.  Then I thought I would press up for the SD version and switch the supercard after but it did the firmware restart on the working supercard but now it looks for the CompactFlash card even though I chose the SD version.  So one card is still showing a blank screen (I can still load the 1.8 upgrade.scu but it doesn't end up fixing anything after it counts to 100%) and the other card won't find a CompactFlash card.

Desperate for a solution to fix either card or both.  Please help.  I am trying to find different firmware versions that are automatic upgrade files.

what 1.8 version? theres 1.81, 1.82 and 1.84, also theres a 1.7

try pressing L+R, that should bring up a summary of your supercard, your firmware and it will tell u if everythings okay, you dont want to see any errors. if you do then its faulty if no errors than try upgrading your firmware

try upgrading to the latest you havent or even try downgrading and then upgrading in chronicle order, like 1.7 to 1.81, to 1.83 , to 1.84 , dont go from 1.7 or 1.81 to 1.84, i think that messes them up.

if all fails, asked someone with a slot 1 solution to do the firmware recovery techniche, i can do it but you would have to pay for shipping and everything.

If I were to use a SLOT 1 device (my buddy has an M3 or M4 or whatever they are called), could I use that to reset my firmware?  How do I do it without messing up his?  Could I load the reset software off of his device but take his out before it starts fixing my SLOT 2 cards?

just run the proper recovery for your slot 2 on a slot 1 and dont worry, reseting the firmware will only reset the slot 2's not your slot 1's, so you have nothing to worry nor have the need to remove it while its fixing it, if you pulled it(the slot 1) out than were will the memory be running from? ;)

When I try it, and it loads from the Slot 1 (DSONE), it says "can't find scfw.sc Please turn off NDS!"  or something like that.  Is it supposed to try to run the program automatically?
