Wii - DS connectivity on Geometry Wars : Galaxies!

OMG! The Wii connectivity works! I'm using an SCL and I connected my GW:G DS to unlock the bonus level in GW:G Wii.

I thought Wii - DS connectivity doesn't work on SC? Is this the result of the new patcher/firmware? Shall I try Pokemon Battle Revolution now?

How is Geometry Wars on both systems? Is there anything interesting with this connectivity?

I was also under the impression these don't work.

no, it is simply not checked for real-ness in the same way some games are

Will it work off the same connection/IP?

My roommate forgot her router password long ago, but luckily I had a spare WiFiMax, but I believe it only gives out one IP. I wonder if it'll work.

I wasn't even going to bother with this game until y'all mentioned it; it really is pretty good, far better than I expected.

Err the wii connects to the DS directly. It doesn't go through a network.

lol Now I get why y'all were so excited! That's pretty cool, hopefully it'll be used for cooler things in the future...
