Basically, I got it, unpacked it, installed software to micro card and of course, freak as I am new firmware update. 

I inserted the SuperCard into Slot1 of my Nintendo DS Lite and it started fine. I loved the look of GUI (for 2 minutes)

Then I read the Install instructions, and started the 1.01 micro firmware installer. MISTAKE 

I got a grey screen and left it so for about 5 minutes. As I came back, the screen was still the same. I shut down the DS Lite and turned it ON again. No Card in Slot 1. 


What a moron I am. The console wont recognize it anymore. Arrrgggghhhhh....


Any hints for a thickhed? A word of comfort? Is it at least useable as a shooting target?

P.S.: Have I mentioned, that it took me more time to write that as to brick a brand new card?

A lot of times the SCDS1 isn't recognized in there at all, just because it isn't in there all the way.  Click it in and out each time before starting up, and try 10 times.  If it still doesn't work, look at this thread.

Sorry, couldn't resist.
Its probably not dead, try out what others have suggested in this thread. Also, try inserting it a different way, mine's temperemental and refuses to work unless you put it in the precisely right way =(
