New 'larger screened' Nintendo DS revealed

Hi

Well, assuming that this IS true, let me ask a question. What about the patent Nintendo made on a handheld system that used motion controls? I thought that was going to be Nintendo's next handheld.

also, Also bigger screens = bigger system because the DS lite already had no space left for bigger screens. That won't make consumers to happy, and I'm sure Nintendo knows it.

P.S. In case you didn't guess from what i posted above, I think this isn't true. And I just posted why.

Sounds like BS... but... this is exactly what I was hoping for, it seemed like a logical next step to eliminate the GBA port.

What's the onboard storage for though, I wonder?  Just a built-in RAM pack and the writer's an idiot, or what?

Here's hoping it's got a metal exterior this tiime.  I'll probably buy one regardless.  I'm a gadget whore.

downloadable demos for the rampack, as we are guessing that in the Wii thread that says that Wii will offer downloadable DS demos and Wii demos so why not the DS too? :)

Heh...removal of the GBA port. I predicted that (might have been in these very forums!) a long time ago for a future DS update...

It just makes sense. I know of nowhere (except used at Gamestop) that you can buy new GBA systems or games. They have all been liquidated at least by me for some time now. There is really no reason for Nintendo to continue to produce the DS with the slot....which was put there in the first place to help GBA players easily migrate over to the DS and have something to play while they waited for the games. The DS now has a very well established game library, and the only people who are still playing GBA games on it are the die-hard game players/GBA fans (like me).

The removal of the slot will absolutely help the DS to become even "slimmer", which seems to be the rage for electronics today. We all get heftier, and the electronics get slimmer..hahaha :)

There still needs to be a fire emblem released before they remove it!

I never use the GBA port so I could care less if they dropped it. If that means that I get a bigger screen and more features that I actually would use, then I'm all for it. But I'm not entirely sure of the validity of this, wheres the link anyhow?
